About Us
Berryhill Early Years Centre is a beautiful, warm, bright, cheerful and vibrant Early Years Educational Centre, with a focus on the delivery of personalised childcare services. With our prevailing ethos of professionalism, compassion and fun, our staff are here to help your child lay solid foundations, begin the journey of lifetime learning and establish quality relationships. Berryhill is for families who desire quality, yet appreciate their role in the child-development partnership; those parents willing and ready to work with the Centre at supporting nature’s effort. For indeed, children should be allowed to be children, and develop as nature intends.
Our Vision is to inspire and encourage our children in love, and cheer them on as they unfold their inner beauty, bloom and grow at nature’s behest towards attaining greatness and their life’s purpose.
Our Mission is to give children a firm, moral, emotional, social and academic foundation, and help children with different needs and capabilities discover the joy of learning while working in a fun, vibrant learning environment.

Areas of Learning and Development
Our overall aim is to provide each child with the appropriate work within a stimulating and nurturing environment so that each child has the opportunity and incentive to achieve his/her full potential. Children learn best when their efforts receive positive encouragement and this is an integral part of our classroom practice in our Early Years and Foundation Stage.
PSED
With regard to Personal, Social and Emotional Development, our programme supports children to develop positive approaches to learning, finding out about the world around them and developing confidence in themselves, their ability to do things, and valuing their own achievements.
CLL
Communication, Language and Literacy are essential skills that children must develop. The children learn to converse with one other person, in small groups and in large groups to talk with and listen to others.
They also improve their vocabulary by learning the meaning of – and being able to use – new words.
KUW
With Knowledge and Understanding of the World, children are encouraged to be curious, to ask questions, to experiment and solve problems to help them make sense of the world they live in.
PSRN
Under Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy, children are supported to develop mathematical ideas and use related vocabulary while taking part in sorting, matching, ordering, counting, pattern making and working with numbers, shapes and measures.
